Surrounded by the Aravali hills, the Shikarbadi Hotel is situated 4 km from the City Palace Complex. The main building was the former hunting lodge of the Mewar Royal family and is set in grounds adjoining a 250 acres wildlife sanctuary with it’s own private lake and Stud farm. This picturesque haven offers complete tranquility despite its close proximity to the city.

While staying at the Shikarbadi you can also enjoy horse back excursions into the countryside to view the abundant wildlife found in the region (Deer, Antelope, Wild Boar, Nellgai, etc) or to live in the rustic luxury of Risala, the tented village at Shikarbadi.
