The Preobrazhenski monastery is situated in a beautiful forestland about 7 km North of Veliko Turnovo. The monastery can be reached by car along the road to Rousse.

Traditional and Water tourism, mountaineering – the “Trapezitsa” Tourist Organisation makes available a large choice of routes and programmes for tourism. It organises excursions to places of historical interest, courses on mountaineering, sports hiking, sports tracking ad mountain biking.
